Thought it would be fun if we could share some of our own recipies for natural beauty stuff. This bath soak is heavenly. You need:
1 cup of dried milk powder
1 cup of dried rose petals
Three drops of rose essential oil
In a small bowl, just stir everything together and then pour into your bath.
Milk is a natural skin softener, but also contains very gentle acids that promote regeneration of skin cells.

I like to hang a muslin bag with some oatmeal, rosemary and sage in it. Oatmeal is good for the skin and the herbs help with my itchy scalp.

Mmmhh. I must admit I'm too stingy for all that beautifying stuff. Mainly because my bath water has to fulfill a few more jobs once I've done with it... I soak really dirty clothes in it (work jeans etc), and use it for flushing the loo.
Now, the rose petals might be OK in that - but I don't know about the milk powder!

stinging nettles are great to use....boil some up....strain the pulp and serve with mash and sausages (tastes like spinach) and use the juices you strained to rinse your hair with.....great for greasy hair and gives a lovely shine.....and its free!!!

Not exactly a 'recipe', but sleep is my favourite treatment for good skin, clear eyes and the best medicine of all for illness.
Oh, and as much variety in the diet as possible but not too much of anything.
