Welcome to NEEPS

NEEPS (North East Eco-friendly People's Site) is a rapidly growing community with over 300 members based in North East Scotland, but with members all over the UK and even some from far off shores.

Although based around an online forum, the group has regular get-togethers, a food co-operative and big plans for the future including the provision of educational opportunities, the chance to gain new skills and to take part in a wide variety of activities.

Aimed at anybody with even the smallest interest in the environment, including gardeners, smallholders, crofters, artists, crafters and anyone with an interest in sustainable living, NEEPS provides a place on the web where you can talk with likeminded people, share hints, tips, expertise and generally have a good old blether!

Many of us have livestock that can’t be left and are geographically quite widespread, so meeting likeminded people can be difficult. We’ve found over the last year that many people have made new friends close to where they live - people that they would never have met otherwise.

As the membership grows, so does our pool of knowledge. This means when people need help, there’s usually someone who can offer advice and often an extra pair of hands.
